Today Big Fish Local is featuring the historic Simon Kenton Inn as part of the Shop Local Springfield Campaign. The Simon Kenton Inn is actually located on the farm that was deeded to Simon Kenton by the U.S. Government and was the first white settlement in Ohio. The Simon Kenton farm property has only been owned by a few different families throughout the centuries, and is now owned by Theresa R. Siejack.
Theresa has worked very hard to renovate and maintain the property now known as the Simon Kenton Inn. As a part of the renovations The Simon Kenton Inn now has a pub/restaurant, a bed and breakfast with five rooms in the main house, and there are also tree houses that can be rented on the property as well. Their large climate controlled dining facility known as Kenton Hall can accommodate up to 350 people. With all of this room for social distancing The Simon Kenton Inn is the perfect venue for weddings, class/family reunions or a corporate event.
